Below is my room configuration (great room). The actual room dimensions are 14 x 21.2, but as you can see the space is much larger. I am looking for recommendations for what size, type, brand, etc. sub I need for this room. Can 1 sub do the trick, or will I need 2? I have already purchased the PSB Image T6/C5, and the Denon AVR-2313CI. Budget is under $1000. Thanks in advance.

you could probably get some good output from 1 PSA XV15 for 799.00shipped. typical extension is down to 14-16hz. its alot of sub for the money. you could get one now and add another down the road if funds allow. if not lets look at some other options.

the Klipsch RW-12d is on sale for under 300.00 on newegg right now...2 or 3 of those would be sweet. this sub retailed 7-800.00 back in 2007. typical extension 23-25hz.

the PA-150 has some good output for 350.00, 2 of them would give ya some really good midbass slam with similar output to the 1 xv15 in the lower bass region(25hz-30hz). look up data-bass.com/systems for comparison charts.

another option would be 2 Rythmik LV12R's for 1070.00 shipped. these would be my top choice if 2 xv15's are not in the budget. extension down to 19hz.

Thanks for your input. I decided to go with 2 of the Klipsch RW-12D from Newegg. $559 for both!
