Hello all,

I have an SVS PC12-Plus (2009 model) I'm trying to sell as I'm moving to the inner city and suffice it to say a sub that shakes my whole house wouldn't be the best to have in an apartment building frown.gif. Anyway, I've been trying to sell this thing but not having any luck and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good site or a company that buys used equipment. I live in Richmond and none of the audio or home theater shops around here buy used equipment. Tried Craigslist but get offered $200 bucks for the thing seems a bit insulting. Looked at Ebay and found very few that had been sold on there. Thanks for any and all suggestions

You can try the AVS classified section and there's always Audiogon dot com.

A word to the wise, stating the obvious, unless dealing with local delivery or pickup, you'll need to deal with packaging and shipping issues.

Up here, canuckaudiomart.com is a great place to sell gear: You tend to get buyers that are a little more serious; you can restrict replies to your ad to members only (which helps weed out frivolous replies); and you can develop a good reputation as a buyer & seller.

(I guess it's similar to Audiogon.)

There's a US version of the site - usaudiomart.com - that might be worth a look.

What he said. I would also list it at Audioholics and Hometheatershack in the classified areas. I sold my Hsu sub within a week using AVS classifieds (local pickup), but there are a lot of home theater setups here (what else do you do when it is 30 below outside?)..

You may have to prepare yourself to ship, and that will not be cheap smile.gif

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I've got this up on the various boards now. Sorry to be such a noob, but I basically built my sound system four years ago off of everyone's expertise on here, as I'm by no means an expert myself. What would you guys say an SVS from 2009 is worth? Pretty sure it is the older driver. I had posted it for 750 and then on one site saw someone put up a PB13 Ultra for 900. I don't see many PC12 Plus elsewhere so not sure, but at that point of seeing the PB13 Ultra I was thinking that I definitely don't know what I'm doing smile.gif

What did you pay for it? What condition is it in?

I noticed your ad on the usaudiomart.com site. A couple of suggestions / corrections you may want to consider, as the search functionality may exlude your ad from results depending on what search is being done:
- Your location is showing as AL instead of VA. (Update your location.)
- Your ad is in the Car Audio section. (Move it - or delete it and repost it - to the Subwoofers section.)

Best of luck selling your sub! smile.gif

Wow, wrong audio section. I officially feel like a complete tool. As regards the condition and pay, I believe I paid $1200 for it but honestly can't remember. Condition I would say is very good to excellent. I said excellent on usaudiomart.
