That size room needed a good ported sub or multiple sealed to get the OP 's desired bass.

The OP's room is under 1500CF and it's sealed.
For the ULS to struggle in such a small room isn't something I'd expect from Hsu's best sealed sub.

Two would seem to be two too many to me too.

Yes I read the thread and then the end of my sentence was desired bass which may or may not of been having levels on the hot side.
I have had both sealed and ported and noticed that I always got more tactical feel out of the ported unit with same driver size your results may vary.
Even the mfg's will often try and sell two sealed units when the customer states he wants tactical feel in rooms of 1500cf even though his is just shy of that.
