Just contacted them regarding Supercube III problem. There is no sound from sub but auto power light turns on. Customer support specialist indicated that, it is a common problem. He is sending back plate for free even without asking serial number / receipt. He suggested me to swap it myself considering it is out of warranty. Kudos to Definitive Tech. Hopefully this will take care of the problem.

I am trying to setup already installed 5.1 system in Living room and 7.1 system in media room. Living room has Supercube III, procenter 1000 and Mythos gem fronts. I think, It has 6-1/2" in-ceiling surrounds (Revel / JBL / Definitive). There are lot of negative posts about Supercube III. Is it adequate for new users switching to dedicated sound system. Looks like there are great subs for $200 budget (F12/PSW505).I am planning to get one down the line. All my budget went towards to buy 2 Denon receivers to start using existing speaker system.

Received backplate from Definitive. Sub is working fine after installing it. Somehow, it sounds louder and better than JBL L8400P in media room.
