The amp on my PC's Klipsch Promedia 5.1's went out on me frown.gif

So I'm building a new setup from scratch. I have some Polk Monitor 30's and a Dayton Audio DTA-100 amp on their way. I need a sub that will match up fairly well but I'm not looking for overkill or anything huge. I know someone will suggest the BIC F12, I already have one and it will be overkill. Keep in mind I will be sitting 2-3 feet from the sub. I was looking at the Martin Logan Dynamo 300, but I read this would be best for music. I use my PC for 90% gaming, 10% movies / music.

The Klipsch Promedia 5.1's had dual 8" subs and they were more than enough. The room is large but I don't think that will be an issue since I will be sitting so close. I'd like to keep it under $150. What would you suggest for an 8" or 10" sub for 90% gaming?

Main HT

Bluray: Pioneer BDP-150

I've read a lot about them, just didn't know how the build quality was and if a 10" was really needed when sitting that close.
