Initially I had a carpet floor and with great wonder I didn't have to use my Behringer Feedback Destroyer (BFD) to change frequencies. Room EQ was almost perfect with my current sub -and seat placement. But a week ago I changed my floor from carpet to cork pallets. I just wonder how much this may affect the bass and the EQ. It almost takes me a day to measure EQ (hooking up SPL meter, setting EQ software up, etc) so I hope some people can give me advice if it's even worth measuring. Or maybe there are DVD/BD's that are good to test if there is booming or bad resonance? Sub -and seat placement are still the same as before.

I would think that change will affect you room acoustics.
