if you dont want to wait exchange the LV12 for a pair of F25's...now thats wtf I am talking about. those are what I originally wanted but rythmik would not ship them at the time.

I'm past the point of being able to trade from what Brian said.

Idk if I'd like the sealed better or not??

I dig ported but then again IV never heard a sealed system that have the output of 2 f25s

the F25 is only down 1db to the FV15HP @ 20hz, but I am guessing the F25 has a 3-4db advantage in the upper bass region. Twice the displacement and another 200watts. Both are beastly, was just thinking of a good alternative so you didnt have the wait.

2878.00 shipped for a pair...

If I just stuck with the fv15hps and I kept the lv12r I would have 3 subs which would be pretty bad ass to.

That way I don't get to overthinking everything. Plus the fv15hp would be cheaper and Imo just as badass (the f25 has beat in appearance with dual drivers hands down though)

I could have 2 fv15hp in each corner on the wall of the TV then have my lv12r on the opposite wall directly in the middle behind my couch.

That would be simply amazing!!!

Oh I agree and a better response which is equally important as output...because a good response accounts for 90% of the sound quality imo.

Great looking setup, are you still considering coming over to the dark side and making a jump to JTR speakers?

I hear those noesis 228s are some pretty amazing speakers. I'd actually love to have some one day but I think they would be overkill for me. I rarely push my 340ses. Hahah

Hey thanks. I can only drool all over the 212 or 228 as I heard them both. I would love to own them for sure but they are way over my budget. I am a budget HT guy raising three little kids. The FV15hp is the biggest purchase since I got married but it was well spent as I am a true believer that a great sub is the key to the ultimate HT experience. I still remember the good old days when I was single and didn't know what to do with my money, so it all went in my theater with $7k 720p pj, $2k Stewart screen, $5k Bryston amps, $6k Lexicon MC1 pre, dual HSU TN1220 with 500W amp and big Mirage speakers (over $20k in total) plus a Yamaha R1 sport bike ($10k). Life was pretty good back then with great job markets. Any way, how do you like your 228's or was it the 212's?

I would go with the FV15hps as I love the feeling of pant flapping from the port(s) that seal sub can't make. Sound quality wise, you probably can't tell the difference between seal and port especially with the servo control Rythmik.
