So the second amp went on my A5-350 (first time around they were still in business and I got it RMA'd) but now that option is not available. I absolutely loved the A5-350 and am looking for a replacement. Does anyone have recommendations for a similar sub in the sub-$750 price range?

Alternatively I am also considering going for two subs instead of one to balance the room a bit more or even get a bit more bass. If this route, what recommendations here?

I'm about 70% music / 30% movies. Music choice usually is EDM/dubstep.

The first thought that comes to my mind is the PowerSound Audio XV15. A touch above your budget, but probably a much better sub than the eD ever was.

If you take yourself too seriously expect me to do the exact opposite

You can get the amp serviced. Check the ED thread on this forum. The individual that repairs the amps is great (I used him!) and he does quality work. IIRC my amp was under $100 to repair and ship.

Something worth looking into.

For now I've decided to move to a new amp. Bought the Yung 500w (no boost). Will have to shave an 1/8 inch of the one side and bottom to fit the new amp, but hopefully performance will be relatively the same from what i'm used to. Still thinking about getting a second sub to balance the room a little better.
