So until either sub is tested it's hard to tell for sure, and PSA really hasn't given much info on the new drivers other then they are Eminence drivers. They do appear from the outside to look the same as the ones that Chase/Chane audio is using in their new SBE-118 passive subs though.
PSA in house data has been within 1db of data-bass.com testing. Jim measured the Triax to put out around 115-116db 20-31hz 2m rms. Tom has stated that the T-18 shows around a 1.5db increase across the board.

The Chane/Chase drivers used in the SBE-118 are different then the VS/SS 18.1 that Ricci tested, so using that data is no bueno.

Agreed, the SBE-118 is a different driver then what was used in the 18.1 subs. Hopefully Josh will get to test T-18 this coming spring. it also looks like the SBE-118 is no longer available.

Yea I noticed that too....apparently chane parted ways. I guess craig chase is going back on his own just selling subs.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner.

We don't have much, but from what I've read so far, this is the best we have.

Adding 1.5db to the original estimate for the Triax nets us:

We'll keep the Reaction Audio equivalent as the UXL for now.

Look forward to Josh testing these in the spring/summer to see how they truly fair.

ULF Calculator Update coming soon...check your scores on Post 2. If you need something changed, PM me...

I've got changes to d_c, sibuna so far. jbrown15 and MK, let me know if you're finished with your changes.
