Not at all familiar with PEQ export function as I have not used REW before therefore not sure how steep the learning curve is for REW. Antimode is automated sub EQ.

There is no need to run both.

Don't want to run both as it might muck up the whole thing. Just looking for a more time efficient setup as I already have 8033. If there is a learning curve to using REW & exporting PEQ's then its probably easier for me to just use 8033 for EQ & use miniDSP 2x4 for level & delay. In that case wondering if it is ok to place the 8033 between AVR sub out & miniDSP unit.

Isn't there a learning curve to everything? Take a look over in this thread, post #275 and read the REW guide. That might give you an idea of whether REW is something you want to pursue or not. If you can get to the point of running a proper sweep, REW will handle creating up to 6 PEQs per sub to match your target curve (not that you necessarily want to approach it like that).

Can't comment on whether chaining your 8033 and the miniDSP is advisable or not, though I struggle to see why this would be problem.

Hi All,

I've been reading here and in some of the tutorial links in this thread and have come up with a question.
I'm thinking of getting the Mini DSP 2X4 for use with my 4 sub-woofers. I have 2 sub-woofers outs on my Denon 4311Ci. I also use Audyssey Pro-Kit in this setup. Will the DSP benefit in more adjustment in the house curve if wanted or needed or am I wasting money and time when Audyssey Pro offers a curve setting adjustment in it's software. There are limitations to it is why I'm asking.
Thank you

Chris

Have you measured your in-room response? Until you do, you won't know if the MiniDSP is needed or not.

AVR: DENON 2113ci
FL/R: Klipschorn
CC: Klipsch RC64ii
SUR: Polk LS F/X x 4
SUB: PSA XS15 x 4 (Soon to be replaced with dual T-18s!)
DISP: Mitsubishi WD-73740
