Replacing my humming UFW-10 and have $750 budget.

I've read plenty on the HSU but wanted to know what people thought of it compared to the NHT B12-d?

This is going in our basement so it's 90% movies and tv viewing.

Cheers

For movies the much larger ported HSU will be much better.

Klipsch RF-62II, RC-500, RS-400, SVS PC12+,
Def Tech SC8000
Harman Kardon AVR 1600
PS3, Apple TV, Sharp 70" Qattron

The Hsu is a much larger sub, but it will also have far more deep bass output. The NHT won't have nearly as much deep bass or tuning capabilities.

Where should I look to buy HSU from? Direct, or do they have other channels? Do they go on sale?

Do they do free shipping or is the $99 hit a permanent thing?

Suppose I'll have to wait until Black Friday or US Thanksgiving.

For 90% movies, definitely HSU over the NHT.

Hello Van G,

The $99 is pretty much a permanent thing. They do go on sale occasionally/

Thanks Kevin. Suppose it costs something to ship those beasts. Look forward to being an owner in the future.
