Itll be nice to keep an awesome collection of bluerays going for the triax! Man I think ive already spent more than $2k on bluerays, they are pricey especially for hits in 3d! eek.gif

I picked up Hot Fuzz and the original Incredible Hulk in steel book also the Star Wars trilogy, Now you see me, Frozen Ground and a few others not bass worthy. I will be getting Pacific Rim after I drop the kids off at school. I should have quite a bit of bluray material to keep me busy for a week or so. Another great movie I want to check out is U571, that should be fantastic with the Triax's.

It sucks because we only have one small best buy here and i didnt notice that special over here, thats awesome because normally best buy dont do too much with the prices.

No, haven't seen it. But after Pacific Rim, Star Trek Into Darkness, Iron Man 3, The Hobbit (mad.gif), I've learned to not get my hopes up too much for these big budget movies. If I'm pleasantly surprised, that's great.

It's crazy how much has came out and what's in the works. One of my top impressive picks for visual and audio is Jurassic park. It still holds up to most movies today even after all these years! If anyone is into martial arts movies I've seen just about all of them, let me know and I can give you a list of the all time best that I've found. Actually come to think of it, another movie back in the day that still surpasses Sifi movies to this day for its realistic effects is "aliens"

I don't really know of any demo disks that you can buy. But if you click the forum member that posts that demo and look at his other posts you can see that he's also made a few other demo disks.

That link I posted is a great demo, it has about 10 3-4min movie clip demos.

The box isn't that big, as ID brand flagships go. It's really dense though...

They are defiantly not as big as the XV-30's, however they are pretty close. The XV-30's were shocking when they arrived. I don't what the picture shows, but these boxes are pretty big!

I look forward to hearing some feedback on those.

Did only one person get their Triax subs today? Who did they sell them to besides people here and those over at HTS?

This is the one thing that was a disappointment. I would have loved magnetic grills, but it is what it is. These grills are pop ins. The grills came separately in a box. I am installing them now. I am going to be honest. These subs are not a one man job. It will take two people to get these things into place. I have some work ahead of me here to get them somewhat tuned. A little different that what I am use to, so I have to figure the amps out and such. I will say the XV-30's were much easier to move around than these beast.

Going to get these tuned a bit here in awhile, I hate running audyssey. I would rather cut the lawn again. biggrin.gif

I am going to be honest. These subs are not a one man job. It will take two people to get these things into place. I have some work ahead of me hear to get them somewhat tuned. A little different that what I am use to, so I have to figure the amps out and such. I will say the XV-30's were much easier to move around than these beast.

Going to get these tuned a bit here in awhile, I hate running audyssey. I would rather cut the lawn again. biggrin.gif

Man, just throw those things into a room, plug them in and run sub cables to your avr, turn them to about 5, throw in Pacific rim and let her rip!biggrin.gif
