I'd go with SVS rather than anything in the Dynamo lineup, but which PB12 are you referring to? The NSD or Plus? Why just these two and why compare ported to sealed subs?

^^^ +1 and SVS sub over any Dynamo. Unless you could get the new 15" for around $400 or so.

I'm looking at the NSD just wondering how it would compare to the Dynamo. I have heard the Dynamo, but have not heard the SVS. I currently have a Def Tech pro 1000, but it just does not go low enough.

Thanks

The Martin Dynamo 1000 is a sealed 12"; th PB12-NSD is a much bigger ported 12". The PB12 will have substantially more max output and more linear 20hz extension.

The more comparable sealed sub SVS model to the Dynamo 1000 is the SB12-NSD, and I would definitely go with it over the Martin Dynamo 1000, too.

Check out these reviews of both SVS subs

What size is your room, Maxlab? And are you more of a music, movie, gaming person? Those kind of factors are important to consider in sub choice. smile.gif

SVS any day. Although I would consider HSU, Power Sound Audio, and Rythmik.

Then- the biggest or most powerful ported sub you can afford, or two of them. smile.gif
