Please reread my comment as it clearly states;

The first comment is a statement that my subwoofer education is rudimentary and only in the beginning stages and the second comment clearly shows that I do no see additional spending as necessarily a bad thing.
There's no mention of wasting money, wasting time or any type of statement that the process is not fun or entertaining.
With the system that will have been put together, the laws of diminishing returns will kick in because once the above described system is dialed in, expectedly, the output will be reference level flat. I will have reached the high point of our budgetary abilities. I don't know what else can be done other than to be throwing good money after good money. At which time, it will be time to move on to another hobby.
