Anyone currently own a outlaw m8 sub. Can you please chime in on your thoughts. I'm wanting to buy one for my bedroom. My bedroom size is 14ft by 12ft with 9ft ceilings. I'm not looking for that chest thumping bass. But I want something that is deep and not muddy.

I would say to go for it. The outlaw should do just fine in that size room. I don't own the M8 but I am running an Emotiva Ultra 10 in my 11x15 bedroom and it performs admirably for both movies and music.

I am looking all over the place and waiting for a deal on M8 to pick one for me. Please share if you come across any and I shall too if I come across one.

My brother actually has the Outlaw M8 in his living room for his main system. Sounds great when volume is kept within reason. Also works very well with music in his system. If the price is right for you and you don't expect huge room shaking bass, but something much better than 90% of the big box stores will give you for $1000, then the M8 is for you. I've allways been impressed with what his system does. I've got dual SVS Ultras and know what great big bass is, but I don't feel he's lacking with his little M8 much at normal easy listening levels, even spirited levels at times.

Why do all of my threads suck? Is there an internet posting school somewhere? -wes k

My hunt for Receiver and sub is complete. Now focus turning to speakers  Arx A5 or A3 seems to be good option.

I just ordered one for my game room. My main system has the Outlaw LFM1-EX. The little M8 was just too hard to pass up at $249.

I have a Paradigm PDR-10 in the bedroom, and it supplies plenty of oomph. Would there be any reason for me to replace it with the M8?
I have 2 Outlaw Pluses in my living room.

I just set mine up. It's in a VERY large area, so I didn't expect a lot. It's just used as a game room, so ultimate home theater wasn't my goal. I've replaced a very cheap Monoprice 8" sub with it.

Impressions - It has about the same output as the Monoprice, but the Monoprice does not play anywhere near as low as the little Outlaw. The construction is not as good as my LFM1-EX, but I think that's to be expected.

I just noticed it is rattling the pictures on the walls two rooms away. It certainly is moving some air and playing low.

It is a good speaker for my gaming and general background music. When the game room was in the large area, my EX could fill the room, this little guy can't do that, not even close. But it's a good value at this price.
