Hey everyone,

So my Polk 1200.1 mono amplifier (http://www.polkaudio.com/products/pa1200_1) just died on me, need to know what you guys recommend to replace it.

I have two mm1240 Polk subs (12 inch) , they have a power handling of 450 watts continuous, and 800 watts peak (EACH) and an nominal imp of 4 ohms (here is a link to them http://www.polkaudio.com/products/mm1240) .

I'm hoping I can get the most power out of these two subs. Also if it matter, it is in a sealed box. So if anyone knows what amp to get and what else needs to be done to give it a loud and high quality sound, that would be great!

Thanks in advance to anyone who responds!

Probably get more response in the car audio forum http://www.avsforum.com/f/160/car-audio-video-and-nav ....maybe.....since I don't think it's generally a big thing around AVS
