Ok.
I have been looking for a dedicated Subwoofer Preamp. Something like a Plate amplifier you find on the back of powered subs but only the preamp section. This way I can use whatever amp I have and any sub. I have several amps and several sub drivers. I like to experiment with enclosures and different drivers. If I had a small Subwoofer preamp then I could rotate amps and subs with the capability and flexibility of adjustment from my listening position (with a nice long rca cable of course). Is there such a thing? Something with level, phase, crossover, eq, controls and all the other fancy stuff?????

Elemental Designs eQ.2 sorta fits the Hill although no lowpass filter. Not an issue if you're using an AVR as you'll use it.

I hate Sony. I love BD. I hate Sony...
