Then the wifey comes out and taps me on the shoulders and says Ok hon, really, that is a little too much. Someones gonna end up calling the cops. Now, she was outside, at the back doing her garden stuffs. And the HT room is at the other end of the house upstairs. eek.gif At that time I was watching TIH. Yup, you guessed it, the sonic cannon scene. I was at -9 on the MV. But I think it could be the house curve that ive made. Kind of aggressive. Well whatever, these Caps put out clean bass at very high dbs. Jeff really know what he's doing with his subs. Especially since he does the Pro Audio side too. And we all know the Pro Audio is all about clean output at very high dbs. Now that's gotta tell you something... Man I need to upgrade my LCR and surrounds. They just can't keep up!wink.gif

My house curve measured at 82 dbs

man looks like your in good shape!!!! have you done some measuring for max output? lookup "bass is a weapon" channel on youtube, you will destroy your house if you crank their songs up!!! biggrin.gif

Yea.. I want too. But if you look up the cap thread I've posted my problem with my ceiling in the HT room. Yes, I've discovered a crack about 2 feet long. I've yet to post some pictures of the crack. And I didn't tell the wifey yet because that might steer my JTR speaker upgrades coming April. But I will tell her eventually. Probably after the purchase. Lol..

That is 20 dBs hot, I never ran mu subs over 12 dBs hot before. Now I run them flat with a peak at 10hz of 5 dBs. So from 7-12hz I am 5 dBs hot and flat throughout. The bass is so strong I would never turn it up. I have cracked my marble plenty of times. I am flat to 4hz without that peak.

Yamaha RX-A2030
speakers- 9 Behringer B215XL's
subs- SI 18ht x12 IB powered by Sanway FP14K.
