I'd like to get this salvaged, 1998 sub operational.

Apart from the driver needing re-foaming, I need to replace what I hope is only an access panel. However, it may have been something more complex than just a panel, hence this post. The size of the opening is just sufficient to allow the driver to be removed.

Internally, there are two chambers linked by a duct and the driver with a second duct as an exit port. It is a 6th Order Series Bandpass config, I think.  The driver is equipped with a second, glued-on magnet which probably accounts for the "Magnetically Shielded" claim.

Its likely that the passive sub was part of a HT system and not sold separately. Can anyone send a link to or post a pic of the access panel? The front fret wasn't intended for removal so many owners will not have seen what's behind it.

Can anyone posr or provide link(s) to original info on this sub? Info on the web is scant.

Thanks, Roj50
