Just got a reply back from antimode support. They said I could actually use L/R XLR out and L/R RCA out with XLR adapters simultaneously to hook up 4 subs. Even though the input is connected from the AVR RCA or XLR.

That's a system to rival the absolute best subwoofer systems on this board, and as I recall it is not going to be used in a big room per se' right?

Just for fun - what's your score going to be?

^^ Thanks Archaea you guys over at the JTR thread has been helpful there. That's one of the best threads to me around here. Just by following up on GTG's you guys went through and just plain reading up been a big help. I'll give you guys updates when these baby's get fired up. If I remember the measurements for my room which is now eh, about 90% sealed 19'6" x 17'8" x 9'8. And will be completely sealed soon. Archaea I'll do the score thing when the subs is in my house and hooked up. Jeff said they will be shipped out on Monday.

Congrats rhed, that sure will be insane in your house. So when I feel the aftershock in Mesa, AZ, I know it came from your house. smile.gif

You're welcomed... make sure you post some pics from everything from the boxes, unpacking and the subs themselves positioned in your room. I can't even imagine the absurd output levels you will experience.

I have 2 pb13-ultras in a 2,800^3 movie room and feel the subs could crack the drywall when playing WOTW (chapters 4,5,6) or The Haunting (DTS-ES, chapter 10) eek.gif

Nice size room and you may not need another two S2's afterall tongue.gif.

Yeah, if I can be serious for a moment, those KC guys (and Andrew in the NE) have been a great resource for people looking to do HT audio and we all owe them big time.

You are gonna have a lot of fun with those subs rhed ... cool.gif

Actually my JTR sub journey started at the Orbit Shifter thread in case you don't remember. Hmm, I wonder who started that thread.lol.. I remember wanting dual OS LFU. But ended up going with quad S2 because the wifey didn't like the size of the OS. But I wanted something to match up to dual OS. So Jeff told me, yea 4 S2's should do the trick.. Damn, I'm a sucker for every little thing when it comes to A/V stuffs.lol..Especially on this forum.smile.gif

This is what Dominquez1 got for my score.
3332 / 11.2 SI = 298@10hz or 5 star ULF

Kind of fun and interesting thread. I did some other equations with different subs just by following that chart. I also did one with 6 S2. It knocked my score lower by exactly 100.. eek.gifbiggrin.gif
