As the original owner of this sub i bought in 92, & enjoyed every cd & movie with it it died after having the edge re-done. i have looked for a replacement woofer since it did sound like something like static & then it stopped performing. everything was still showing on with the amp, but the woofer was no longer stiff in the cabinet when it first fire up. would like to know if its worth shipping to maybe et it working again

I bought my dual F1500s in '94. smile.gif

They both died in the last year. I did have one repaired (by an electrical engineer friend) and it worked for a few more months before dying again. It might be worth a try to replace the amps - I got mine here.

If it's the servo though, it's time for a new sub. Velodyne doesn't make replacement parts or drivers for them anymore.
