Hey everyone! biggrin.gif

I spent quite some time reading all these separate forums with frequency graphs and talks of movie bass.
So I thought bringing it all together would be beneficial to all.

After long months of work and lots of spare time, I finished this website: www.bassmovies.com

The goal is to build up a database of all the bass freqency charts and rank all the movies by their bass.

You can use it to upload frequency graphs and just link those wherever you want.
(everyone can vote on a movie's bass - but graph uploader's votes weigh more)

This site is here to stay and the uploads will never be deleted. ( unlike most links here that have died by now frown.gif )

If you see any bugs, let me know! smile.gif

You should integrate the work of members of data-bass have done to evaluate bass in movies.

http://data-bass.ipbhost.com/index.php?/topic/12-the-low-frequency-content-thread-films-games-music-etc/

Your site could hold both objective ratings (data-bass) and subjective (social voting). You'd probably want to change your metrics for the subjective methodology if you were to do this, as the objective ones would answer some of those.

Also, check out my ULF score thread. If you can track who voted and combine that by having members list their ULF score in their profile, this would give us an idea of why they thought the movie was subjectively good or bad in the bass dept., and a better criteria if the movie is a worthwhile watch or buy.

Did you develop this site on your own? Looks very nice.

Thanks all. smile.gif

dominguez1: thanks for the suggestions. If this gets going, I'll make sure to consider these with a future 2.0 update.

I'm sure it is a lot of work, but doing the above will "get it going" IMO...
