Let me start off with I just been researching and reading so many Threads but still can't decide, can someone please help me out. Okay so my setup is not the greatest I'm coming from a HTIB Onkyo HT-R550 , the Subwoofer sucks is a 8" onkyo Skw-550 only 140 watts and I doubt it is RMS. Well I'm doing some shopping seen lot's of videos, but still can't decide. The jbl is $200 shipped from amazon, but keep reading about the amp issues, PL-200 found one like new on criagslist for $175 , but it's a 71 mile drive. And the klipsch craigslist for $250 close to my house. Now my limit is $300, room size 12x20x8 the woofer would be for 50/50 Music and movies I want lot's of bass but quality bass as well. So can someone Help out, and Sorry for the long post. Thanks guys!

You have 2000 cu ft of space to pressurize for effective bass. Knowing this you need to keep in mind that if you want lots of bass and quality bass then you need to be willing to spend the money to get it.

I don't know your budget but I would look at some of the internet direct companies to get the best bang for your buck. I would suggest considering the following:

Rythmik LV12R

SVS PB 1000

Outlaw LFM-1 or maybe the M8

Hsu VTF-2 MK4 or maybe the VTF-1 MK2

If you need to stay below $300 then I would suggest looking at the Dayton Sub 1200 or the 1500. The BIC F12 would also be a option.

^ +1. If you can stretch your budget, the well-rated SVS PB-1000 is $499, shipped and SVS offers free return shipping within 45 days. Worth a demo, at the very least.

If not, dual Dayton SUB-1200s might be a good option. They're $109/ea., shipped.

The RW-12D when it sold from newegg was said to be the best sub below $300.

I've had mine for maybe a year now and the only complaint I have is that it's 'boomy', but you'll be hard pressed to find more output for less.

At $299 you could look at the Outlaw M8.

It seems to be out of stock in newegg, and amazon has it for $400. So do you think at $230 is a good buy intead of the other 2. Just seen the outlaw i looks good and I have heard that for music a 8" is better but it's only 150rms.

This sucks went to newegg last night to pick up the sub, and they told me that they had sold it, what gives. They also gave me some sub headphones for their mistake. I get home and they don't work, anyways they're refunding me the money worst experience I had with a company... now for the question should I wait to see if another rw12d comes out on eBay, or should I buy 2 klipsch ksw 350 subs they're 8" but 2 for 200$ seems like a good deal. Was looking at the outlaws Aswell, are they really that good.
