I`m not totally sure but I think that should put me into the 5 star category down to 12hz in the ULF thread. All for less then the price of a single Cap S2.

My Gear:

JTR Noesis 228HT (LCR)
Axiom Audio QS8 surrounds
Sherbourn PA 7-350
Pioneer VSX-21TXH
JVC RS45
Falcon Screens FVHD105
Dual PSA XS30's (gone but not forgotten)

Having sworn off DIY, four 11^3 boxes, reads like more than a simple weekend project. tongue.gif

Are you setup for cabinet woodworking of this kind?

(being a greedy personality, can you go lower than 12Hz?)

Yeah its going to be more like a few weekends kind of project, I`ll have solid output down to 10hz.

A fellow forum member has access to an awesome wood shop and will give me a hand building the enclosures. I`m fairly handy with my woodworking skills too.

Congrats on the access to the "awesome" wood shop. That has to be totally cool. Good luck with the project.

Do the JTR subs come with XLR to rca cables? If they don't, what gender is the XLR side that I need to buy?

No they don't and the sub amp end XLR cable needs to be a male connector.
