Current sub is a Sunfire TS-EQ12. Room dimensions is 15.7W x 13L x 7.5H (1530.75 cubic feet). Should I add another of the same sub to smooth bass response throughout the room or should I upgrade to another model. FYI, to accommodate something the size of a PB13-Ultra I might have to get rid of a piece of furniture and placement locations might be limited to sides and back of the seating position, would this be a problem?

Add another Sunfire. You'll end up with at least as much total output as going with a much larger sub, probably more, as well as smoothing response.

Thanks, plus it would be cheaper since I would be buying the Sunfire used like I got this one...

SOUND is a bigger consideration. If you are happy with how your Sunfire sounds-the quality/tone and how low it goes, not the SPL-then add another one. How much did you pay used?

$900 used a few years ago. Am I happy with the sound? Well... it's the strongest sub I've ever owned but for some strange reason I thought my Velodyne MiniVee sounded better (non-boomy, clearer bass) but the Sunfire packs a way harder and deeper punch for HT use...
