Hey guys...getting my new Klipsch rf-82 II, Rc-62 and Rs 62 with PSA xv15. I have an old JBL Northbeidge e250p. I thinks it's 250 watt rms with a 12 inch driver and is a low budget, boomy sub....not terrible. I believe my pioneer 1121k can drive 2 subs.

Should I just run the XV 15 alone or can I make so,e use of the jbl e250p with the new system? Or not needed? My room is quite large...around 4,000 cubic feet.

There is a good chance you need 2 or 3 subs. Place the weak sub near the MLP and the good sub further away. Level matched the subs at the MLP. Save up for another sub down the road.

^^^ Very solid advice... OP yes you can run the JBL along with the PSA if the PSA alone isn't giving you the bass you desire. But remember a chain is only as strong as the weakest link which is why derrick is suggesting placing the JBL nearfield to help compensate for its lack of performance compared to the PSA. But as budget allows buy a 2nd PSA XV15 and sell the JBL and you should have all the bass you need.
