I have a fairly large room, 24x19x10 (4560 CF), that I am piecing together a new sound system for. This will not be my primary HT room but I would like it to have a respectable system. Additionally, I am not in a huge hurry to complete the system and I am willing to wait to get the best deals.
I am aware a room of this size may require multiple "Budget" subs. I also know the PA-150 is probably a better sub for this room. However the PL-200 is on sale right now for $259, while the PA-150 is selling for $499. My question is from a value perspective is the current deal on PL-200 likely to be the best value I am going to see in the next 6 months or so, or in your experience do you expect I can get a better value waiting it out.
I know you can't predict the future but I am new to this market and would really appreciate any insights you all could provide.
You should definitely wait. How can a room that size not be your primary HT room?
You were right when you mentioned multiple subs.

It is my "Formal" living room, has a section with a fire place and the entry way, all one room though. The "entertainment" section only uses about 12x15 of that space. Sadly, since its all open I will still need to fill the room. My main HT room is in my basement.
So about what price would you expect I could see the PA-150 at during a Black Friday type sale?
Thanks for the help, really appreciate the insight.
