Help needed in deciding a subwoofer.

I am currently in the process of buying equipment for my dedicated home theater (13 ' 10" x 16' 6" ), just bought Infinity Primus 363 and PC351 for Fronts, thinking of either buying P163 or P153 for surrounds, I currently have a polk PSW350 subwoofer which I would like to use.

Here is my dilemma, based on my room size, should I buy another 200-300 dollar sub and use a 7.2 configuration or should I buy more powerful Outlaw Audio LFM-1 Plus Subwoofer or SVS PB-1000 and go with the 7.1 configuration.

What would be best?

with the outlaw on sale its a no brainer... Buy as much sub as you can afford... You would need another matching sub to double them up, mix matching subs playing the same ranges is trouble...

HT-Emotiva UMC200 and XPA5, Ascend 340se front stage, 200se surrounds, Dual HSU VTF2's
Bedroom music-jolida 202 integrated & Tekton Lores
Formal parlor music- XPA2 & XDA2, Wharfedale Evo2-40's, dual WD sw subs, pure i20
Guest parlor-Parasound 2100 outlaw 2200 monos, csb1 bookshelfs, dual SVS sb12nsd subs

Will the outlaw be enough for my size room (1800 cubic feet) if I go with the single subwoofer? This is a closed room (new basement was digged because we added an addition to our house).

Unless you're an extreme basshead it will be enough. It will be soooooooooooo much more than your current sub I'm sure you'll be pleased with it, that is until about 6 months down the road when you get used to the output and then want more. It happens to all of us.

Thanks Guys,

I ordered LFM-1 Plus this morning, now I am questioning my decision to buy Primus Infinity 363 (for fronts) and PC351 (for center), I am going to use my current polk satellite speakers for surround and surround back, is it a good idea? or should I invest in a different speaker set to go with outlaw, this all will go in a dedicated theater room.

The Infinity Primus line is solid. That's what I have and they are paired up with dual Rythmik FV15HP's. I could not be happier with the sound and I do not see myself upgrading anytime soon.
