Need new subwoofers:(

Ok I have two Cadence Audio CSX15 subwoofers. One I bought about 6 years ago the other I bought about 3 years ago. Well they have both corked on me an I don't know for sure when they did because I'm using Cerwin Vega CLS-215's for my front speakers and sending the bass LFE output from my Denon 4311ci to both the CLS-215's and the subs.
So with the CLS-215's still playing bass through four woofers I didn't notice that the subs weren't playing. I replaced some of my other speakers so I ran Audyssey again that's when I found out my subs weren't working. (no sound from the subs running audyssey) You think I would have notice before running it But anyways to my question. I love the two 15" subs and I like that they are front fired and front ported. While sitting on the couch you can feel the air from the ports on you legs. This is why I should have known they quit working
I don't want to spend mega bucks on new subs I know there are plenty of them out there you can get for mega bucks.
I paid like $499 each for my Cadence audio ones so that's what I'm looking at spending. But I've been searching for days and can't really find what looks like a good front fire front port 15
I've found a lot of nice looking 12's but don't really want to go from 15 to 12. I have the room for the two 15's.
So any input would be much appreciated.
Long story short 2 15" powered subwoofers front firing and front ported under $500 each

Front ported 15" for $500 is a tall order. The closest you can get is these Behringer Eurolive 15" subs. Those will have a lot more output than your Cadence subs too. They are not much for deep bass, but then your Cadence had about zero deep bass output itself. If you can live without front ports, this Premiere Acoustics PA-150 actually has more even performance and will give you a little bit of deep bass, but will likely be outperformed by the Behringers in upper bass output. Those are your two best bets.

Don't get hung up on driver size as it is only one variable. How big is the room? Dual SVS PB-1000 will pressurize a fair amount of space and hit below 20hz with authority.

I think PB1000s may be disappointing coming from CSX15s. The Cadence subs have a tremendous amount of upper bass output, many times that of PB1000s. A system with floor standing CWs is intended to get loud, which is something the PB1000s will not do amazingly. On the other hand, the CW tower speakers should be able to do mid bass very well, so if the PB1000s were crossed over low enough, they could possibly make a meaningful contribution to that system since it is tuned lower. But there is no way the SVS subs are going to outperform the CW speakers above 40 Hz.

If you didn't even notice the subs weren't working, are you sure even need subs? If the answer is yes, then there's no point in getting something that outputs less than the Cadence Audios. ShadyJ's suggestion is probably your best bet, however you could also consider spending ~$1000 on a better sub now, and saving up for a second one in a year or two.

Reaction audio PV15X for about $1K.

I think it might be front ported.

That one is rear ported with a side-firing driver.

I think I'm going to go with two of these.

They are made in the US out of mostly US products.
And I chatted online with them for awhile tonight. Very impressed with their chat person.

You were most likely talking to Tom, the owner. I have an xv15se, very happy with it. Look at getting the miniDSP so you can get the most the sub has to offer. Amazing piece of equipment.
