Outlaw LFM-1 Plus

Just ordered a Outlaw LFM-1 Plus sub on sale $499 with free shipping! This sub will replace my current Def Tech Prosub 1000.

First question. Good move? Will I notice quite a big improvement? Based on what I have read here I would think so but just want to feel good about the purchase.

Second question. Pair with the Def Tech or just sell the Def Tech? I have read conflicting opinions on mismatched duo subs.

Thanks!

According to the link above, the sub digs down to 18 Hz. Amazing for a 31 lb sub with a 10" driver in a relatively small enclosure.

I would think the outlaw sub would preform better. I suggest trying out both subs together and if it doesn't work out, then consider selling your current sub.

Def tech specs are BS. I had a Pro 1000. Barely gets to 30 if that. That Outlaw will kill that DefTech.

Awesome! Sounds like I will definitely notice a difference. Thank!

So, is the consensus sell the Def Tech or would you run dual with the Outlaw?

You have purchased one fine sub. I have one in the HT room (it is really too small for the EX) and it sounds fantastic.
