Single SVS PB1000 or dual BIC PL200?

I am in the market to upgrade my subwoofer. I do not have a huge room around 16 by 12 with 7.5 feet ceilings, so about 1400 cubic feet. I'd like to keep the price around $500.

I’m looking at a single SVS PB1000 or dual BIC PL200. It/They will be used for about 70% movies 30% music, any suggestions, comments or concerns.

Im going from a DEFTEC prosub 800, so any sub is an upgrade.
Thanks

Setup 5.1
Yamaha rxv673
Fronts mythos 4
center mythos 3
surrounds promonitor 600
prosub 800

Well normally id say get two over the single but since movies are 70% of use id get the pb1000 now and add another when you can .
The bic is solid to 30 hertz in a small room and the pb1000 is solid to 20 hertz

skip both of those options and go this route.

and one of these...

now you have a bass system that would absolutely destroy both options mentioned above for only a 100.00 more.

A PB-1000 would likely be enough in a small room such as yours, especially if it isn't an open floor plan with other rooms. Skip the PL200 for your needs, mostly movies. If you can wait a few days, it's possible, although unlikely, that Outlaw will have a Labor Day sale on their LFM-1 Plus, priced at $499. That sub will give you better output and extension than the PB-1000 for the same price. If no Labor Day sale, then they'll have a Thanksgiving sale.
