Question Help setting up subwoofer base

Hello guys. How are you all doing?

Folks, I'm new here and I need some help setting up a base for my subwoofer.

I was thinking about something like this:
subwoofer -> mdf base covered in anti-noise fabric -> 4 sorbothane feet on the four corners and some foam in the middle -> mdf base again -> 4 little wheels.

I have a laminated floor and I would love to have a base with wheels, but if that is to affect the sound quality too much, then I'll forget about it.

What do you guys think?

I don't see the purpose of wheels on something that isn't supposed to move around. As for a base, I'd use a square of trimmable, 24" x 24" puzzle mat (like this).

Hello.

I know but unfortunately the place where it is located tends to accumulate lots and lots of dust. I have to clean it frequently. Wheels would make the job way easier.

So if I add the puzzle mat in the mix along with the wheels attached to the mdf, would that be fine?

Sure would make moving the sub around the room for testing for a good spot easier....as long as the base is solid and doesn't add noise, sounds convenient!
