Antimode VS Audyssey

I am going to purchase a PSA V3601 and am trying to decide if I need the Antimode 8033 sII.

I currently have an Onkyo TX NR709 which has Audyssey MultEQ XT.

Thoughts?

slammin86 Talk to Tom and see what he can do for you. You are going to love thatV3601, I am jealous. I have a few PSA subs, and one of them is a V3600. I use the Anti Mode Dual Core 2.0 and it does a wonderful job. I would see if he could work a deal out, and get the Antimode 8033. These Antimodes are great and do a solid job of integrating subwoofers. How large is your room? Sealed or open. Are you looking to get another sub down the road.

It's is going in my basement living area. It is a large area with an open area going upstairs. Room is 18 x 26 with 9 ft ceilings. I do not have immediate plans to get another sub. Currently have dual 15s...one in each corner up front. The plan is dual 18s in the corner opposite the door.

As suggested you can ask Tom... but for a single sub I would not think you would need it but once again ask Tom
