I have used an Excel file I pulled off the WEB for plotting bass response for using my BFD. The plots would be a lot more meaningful to me if I could somehow get them to plot logarithmically. I am a bit (apparently) Excel challenged and can not figure out how to do that.

Anyone got any ideas??

Forget about the PM.

Sometimes graphs can be a tad tricky. It's particularly difficult without seeing the data file; however, I'm got a couple of suggestions:

1) First, plot the values in columns next to each other

2) Select "scatter" plot. [My guess is that you selected a line graph. You can get log on Y axis with a line graphl, but I don't think you can on the X axis]

3) Once you plot the graph in base 10, double click on the X axis. One of the tabs should say scale. Select that tab and towards the bottom there should be a box you can check that says log in the description.

If that doesn't work, let me know. I'd be happy to give you my email address so you could email me the file.
