I can get a deal on three subs. A JBL E150, Velodyne CHT-10 and an Infintity PS-10, all for roughly the same price. I have listened to the JBL and Velodyne and am able to demo the Infinity PS-12 but not the 10. I have come to some conclusions on my own but would like to know if given these three choices which would you choose and why?

Thanks,

Mike.

Having owned both a JBL and an Infinity sub, I'de say go with the Velodyne. The JBL's amp went out on me 3 times, and the Infinity sub just didn't sound as good IMO.

I have pretty much ruled out the JBL as I find it to be quite boomy. The real debate is Velodyne vs Infintity. I like how the Infinty PS-12 sounds but since I havent found a PS-10 to compare to the Velodyne it makes it hard to decide. Hopefully someone here has some experience with the Infintiy PS-10 and can help me out.

Along with Def Tech line which are pretty good, also consider Yamaha which has really good performance for the price paid.

I can get the subs I mentioned for a really good deal and as a result am leaning towards the ones I mentioned. How much would a Def Tech sub be worth?

I found the Def Tech's 200 watt sub for 404.00 at Ultimate Electronics in Austin. Sounded very very nice.:p
