I have Klipsch RF-3's, RC-3, RS-3's, and a RSW 10 sub running off a Denon 3805. Should I set the RF-3's to small or LARGE. On the RF-3 spec page at http://www.klipsch.com/product/produ...section=specs, it states the RF-3's go from 37Hz-20kHz±3dB. Let me know what to put these at.

I ran the auto EQ on the DENON 3805 and it set the RF-3's to Large and it also set my RS-3's (rear speakers!!) to large.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I have a very similar setup and I have my reciever set to large, gives a more fuller sound but switch between the two setups to decide what you think sounds better...

I would set them to small and play with the crossover settings till you have the sound you like. Start with 80Hz and then drop it down to no higher than 50Hz. While your mains will go down that low, it is easier on the receiver if it doesn't have to drive the speakers in the lower ranges. In addition, your woofers will be able to more accurately reproduce the remaining sound. Let your subwoofer do what it was made for.

No matter where you go, There you are ;)

If the RSW-10 can reproduce anything below about 40 Hz, you should set all other speakers to SMALL. Otherwise the sub won't get any signal to produce bass below 37 Hz that the other speakers can't reproduce.

Btw, the title of this thread is not good. This question is about setting up a system with subwoofer. It has nothing to do with the brand of speakers or receiver. And it should be in the Subwoofer forum.
