Hey All,
I just upgrade my mains and center to Polk RTi8s with a CSi3 center. They gave me a free sub as a Polk promotion. I have a BA VR500 subwoofer that has got to be 7-8 yrs old? The Boston is 100w (I think) 10" sub . The Polk is only 50w. The room is about 16X19 with a cathedral ceiling. Which one do you guys think I should use? Do you think the Polks will balance better with the new speakers? Thanks guys.

Pablo:confused:

Pablo,

You'll be able to answer that question better than anyone. Grab your favorite bass scene from your dvd collection and play it with each sub and hear which one you prefer. Also try out some music and see which one you like better.

Regards,

Yeah, I know. I was just being too lazy! Time is pretty precious these days. With a toddler running around, it limits when I can do it! Just looking for opinions. Unfortunately, they wouldn't give me a cherry cabinet sub to match the others.

This is the time to get your toddler interested in audio. Kids love nothing more than helping Daddy do things they don't understand.
:D

P.S. Now is the time to buy locking connectors. :p

No matter where you go. ... There you are.

He has plenty of Daddy's toys play with. 13 years without kids gave me alot of time to collect things. He is already "playing" with the home theater. That is why I am building a new cabinet this weekend, and considering putting all the gear in the closet!
