Hello,

I have a question about my subwoofer placement. I have three open corners to place my subwoofer. The front two would be on either side of my screen and front speakers. The third position would be in a small corner in the rear of the room, directly under where my a/v components are going to be.

If I place the subwoofer in the front of the room, I am going to have to run at least a 20 ft subwoofer cable to reach the receiver. Are there any issues with signal deterioration with such a long run? I'd also have to find a way to hide the cable.

If I place the subwoofer under the a/v components, will the components experience vibration that could lead to damage? The a/v components would be in a rack independent of the subwoofer. The subwoofer would be on the carpeted floor with the rack standing over it.

Questions, comments, help?

Thanks.

Evan
