Here I am again asking you helpful gents to indulge me and take a moment to offer an opinion.

I'm looking for opinions, ideas or experiences regarding a servo-controlled sub design as exemplified by these two reviews published on the Secrets site.
Rythmik DirectServo Powered Subwoofer Kit
Audio Concepts Titan (12")

If you can take the moment,
thanks,
ted

I own both Paradigms Servo 15 and PW 2200. I got the 2200 first (which is not servo) and thought it was great and had a hard time imagining how any sub could be better. But then I got the Servo 15 and it definitely is much better. Just much more defined. I don't know whether it's the servo or the sealed vs ported desgns that makes the most diference.

Ted,

I don't have experience with the Titan, but I have a custom DirectServo sub using Rythmiks amp/driver combo in a Mini-Thunder cabinet. In my 5 + years of searching (owning 15+ subs in that time), I've have finally found a sub that sounds sweet for music applications, tight and defined. Yet that can still rock you for HT as well. I wrote up a semi-complete review for Brian of Rythmik Audio to post on his site. It can be found here: DirectServo MiniThunder, also shown is a pic of the sub. You will find my review part way down (Patrick S. in N. California).

Hope this helps!
Best Regards,
Patrick
