Just visit some other subs web sites and read about amps. Many companies sell still Bash amp, witch is older SVS amp. Many people love Sledge amp and I'm one of them. It is digital displey set up, XLR connection, stronger amp at least in SVS models, better technology, maybe? My two 8 years old Klipsch subs had Bash amp so I'm just guessing Bash amp is getting out of market slowly and Sledge amp is next generation but maybe I'm wrong. I really don't care that much about it, SVS is just perfect for what I need and if Sledge amp helps good for them and us!!!
