THT does very well w/ films like terminator salvation, scott pilgrim and others like transformers and iron man (1&2 for both), that have most of the LFE power above 20hz.

My THT works pretty well for Tron, an immense wave of pressure is felt whenever i play it on. Specially the beginning of the movie where the actor teleports into the virtual world.
Pulse movie flexes my walls like its gonna crumble, i dont really think i am missing any content, one of my friend has dual dts-10 subs, although its loud, but i can compare the sound and say, i am not missing any of these. If you are around Chicago, you are welcome to demo.

It all depends on your response in room and how low one can go. It does make a difference but lots of power and displacement is needed. The DTS-10 is great from 12hz and up but falls off a cliff below that. Does it make a difference? You bet, you have to try it before you say it does not matter. I have even tried different sealed setups which all were flat to 5hz and the drivers with more displacement made a much bigger impact down low.

Found a movie not mentioned here that had what I believe to be some fairly low stuff (Cargo 2009) I want to run a speclab but am having a hard time figuring out how exactly.

I have it all setup but what is the best way to get the signal into speclab?

Soon to be owner of a PC12-Plus. And I'm looking for some blurays that would demo sub 20hz LFO. I have quite a bit of the summer action flick types. Would Star Wars a New Hope, Tron Legacy, and LOTR: FOTR be a few good ones? What are some of the best, to really wow myself with my new sub?

Might want to try this thread instead. http://www.avsforum.com/t/1333462/the-new-master-list-of-bass-in-movies-with-frequency-charts

It has replaced this one, which hasn't been updated in years.
