Yes, We have a 2RU rack amplifier which contains 2 of our 4000W or 6000W (240V only) amplifiers. For most installations in the US there is no need for the 240V, 2x6000W amplifier, but it offers isolation from power line sag and some added headroom if driving 8 subs from the single rack amp. For concealed installations I do prefer keeping the amplifier in the rack when possible. It adds a few hundred $ over internal power for 2 powered units, but means you never have to climb behind a screen wall to check if the amplifier is working properly.

Shoot us an e-mail and we can go over what makes the most sense for you.

Here is what the front of the amplifier looks like:

I'm currently building my theater room, 27L x 18W x 10H, over my garage so it will be a suspended floor. I already have one SubM, the 2400W model. Do you think adding a second SubM (4000W) would get me to reference flat down to 20Hz give or take? My room will be sealed tight, but it's still almost 5000 cubic feet. I'm thinking I'll get JTR 210RT's, so I would cross at 60Hz. I've just read too many posts about a room this large needing ported 18"s to reach reference, so I'm second guessing whether the 4 15"s in dual SubM's would be 'enough'.

Thoughts?

Hi Mark, I'm looking at upgrading my 1000w Submersives to the 2.4kw amps pre owned if possible... How much would I roughly be looking at? I can't go with the master slave options as the subs are distributed differently around the room.

Cheers,
Kevin
