I am planning on taking my Acoustic elegance AV12 from the car and putting it in the house for HT. Does anyone know if their are any box kits/amps for this particular sub that has worked well. Preferably something that looks good.

I have 2 of the AV15 in my home theater. I built custom boxes for them. You will get the best results if you design something specifically for them. I was powering them with 2 NHT SA-3 amplifiers, 350 watts into 4 ohms, but am now using the amplifier that comes with the buttkicker tactile transducer. It puts out 2100 into 2 ohms. It can drive both with no problems.

I was told with the AV12 to put it in a sealed 3 cubic foot box with a dayton 500 watt amp, this sound reasonable? I want to reach at a clean 22hz
