search on eBay, you can make an offer to either vendor. for an idea of what offers are accepted, go to 'advanced search' and then select 'view completed listings only'

Overstock has em for $277...but if you check around coupon sites you can usually find codes or % off deals that bring it down to around $230- 240. Plus shipping with Overstock is usually only $2.95 for anything (and normally no tax).

If you've never bought from them you can get better deals for new customers online also.

Another big plus....it's easier to return if your not satisfied or there is a problem and you're only out the $2.95 ship fee.

Looks like the best he is accepting thru Ebay is now $249. $200 offer plus $49 shipping. What is nice is that he states: "90 days are totally on us-If anything goes wrong we pick up unit at no charge-and replace it with a BRAND NEW UNIT."

They used to take $190+ shipping through eBay, but the price went up. $240 is probably your rock bottom now.

Good info. Plan on pulling the trigger on the Bic when Craigsub officially rates the Velo VX-10 and Daytons below the H100.

Tried emailing Mike and asked if he would sell it for $240 shipped and he said no. Seems he is only selling it for $249 shipped (ebay or direct). I may consider getting it from overstock instead. Comes out to about the same.

If you can get discounts from Overstock, it's probably six of one. Maybe use eBay if you want to add to your feedback. In any case, it's pretty seamless.

Im kinda excited as my new speakers get here Wednesday, my new receiver for the bedroom (where my old speakers go) Thursday, and hopefully my sub Weds or Thurs depending how slow UPS ground is from NV to CO.

I got my H-100 last Thursday, Finally got to CRANK it last Saturday, Holly Cow, that thing shook my HDMI cable loose on my switcher. Very Impressive. Not only that, It totally changed my surround sound system. (Cranked = 4.5)

You can get one for 198.40 if you use Live.com's 20% cashback on a Buy It Now ebay auction from acousticsounddesign. Pay $248 shipped and in 60 days get 49.60 in your live.com cashback account.

I just did this after seeing Dugout Doug's post in the "Looking for a new Powered sub around the $200 mark or less" thread.

I purchased this sub on ebay six months ago from user "sound_distributors" and made a quick check to ensure there wasn't any damage. I finally went to install it this weekend and saw that there was no power cord. I emailed him Sunday morning and received a response the same afternoon stating that he would mail me a replacement at no cost. Great service and highly recommended.

I'm looking for a good budget sub. A friend of mine has a 1st Gen Tiny Mighty & I like the sound of it.

Budget: $200-$300
Room: 10' wide, 40' deep, 10' high
Size: Something smaller than my couch, bigger than the remote.
Appearance: Anything that doesn't have shag carpeting.
Use: Movies & some music.

So after searching this forum for a while:

Been looing for a used Tiny Mighty for sale & can't seem snatch one up.

Can't find the AV123 X-Sub on their website for sale.

BIC Acoustech H-100 on ebay says "new" 2009 model for $229 & free S&H.

My question is, is the new 2009 BIC the same sound quality as the previous models?

Parts Express has some Daytons for sale. I've heard their new Sub80/100/120 aren't as good as the "Tiny Mighty," but are the HSU8/10/12 a better buy than the 2009 BIC?

thanks in advance for the help

The older well-known BIC H-100 model with the cerametallic Klipsch-looking cone is available on eBay for $279.

Ok, so the H-100 is now back on ebay through both of Mike's storefronts (accousticsounddesign and sound_distributors) for $279 shipped. This is $50 less than the VK-12 he was selling last week, though it was rumored that he would sell the VK-12 for $279 also. Which would be the better sub? Has anyone heard the VK-12 yet?

is there any difference between the old BIC h-100 & the new one? if so, is it worth the extra money to get the old version?

is the BIC h-100 better than the HSU10? (they're about the same price)

The "new" Bic H-100 listed is actually the Premier Acoustic PA-120, but if you call the guy who sells them he swears that they are made on the same line by the same company and basically there is no difference except looks, with a very small bump in performance in theory to the PA-120. The fact that the performance and dimensions for the two are listed as being the exact same seems to lend credence to that assertion one would think. I took a chance and ordered one friday evening but haven't heard a thing on it, hopefully simply because it was friday evening and I'll hear it shipped monday. Guess we'll see if it deserves all the rave reviews--almost bought a vx-10...

Well, I've been to one world fair, a picnic, and a rodeo, and that's the stupidest thing I ever heard come over a set of earphones.

I haven't compared the two but the VK-12 is supposed to be an upgraded version. You should be able to get it for $280 - 25% cashback on ebay.

Scubie02, how do you like the PA-120 so far? I'm considering pulling the trigger and was curious what you thought now that you have had it for a week. Thanks
