For some reason now my sub on my surround sound periodicly thumps/pops a little when it shouldnt be. It doesn't do it for the first minute or so. Im not sure what it is or why it's doing it, I checked all the connections. Even when the sub is turned way down it still does it. Im thinking my 7 year old sub is finally bit the dust. Can you guys think of any other reason?

I would swap the subwoofer cable first - a bad cable can pop like that. If that doesn't help, it sound like the amp is starting to fail. Contact Polk Tech Support for advice on amp replacement.
