World's Coastlines from Above -

series of 10 episodes (first season) shot in HD and showing for the past year on HDNet and maybe other channels as well.

If anyone has ideas on getting this series somehow, please let me know.
I'd buy it in a heartbeat if it were available on Amazon.

This site lists all of this series as a "HD bonus" (~1/3 down the page). Not sure about the Russian link and .ua.com link, though (?) and about the titles listed; take care, obviously. Located this at AltaVista.com with a 'Blu-ray and "World's Coastlines" ' search (72 hits).-- John

You can't.

"World's Coastlines From Above" is not available on Amazon.com or eBay. It is not available from HDNet (now AXS TV - and not available there either). It does not appear available from any torrent site to any location outside of metropolitan Paris.

The French version, under the title "Côtes d’Europe vues du ciel", was available from Amazon until 2010, but it was playable only on European devices (Region B) and not devices available in the US (Region A). See Region codes at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluray.

It's in the catalog of the distributor, Terranoa (http://www.terranoa.com/english/fiche-detail.php?id=1342), under the title "Europe's Coastlines From Above". Si tu converser en the langue Francais avec fluence, you might try calling Marie-Pierre Izard, +33 1 55 25 59 39. But they probably don't retail anything.

It's in the catalog of the production company, Gedeon Programmes (http://www.gedeonprogrammes.com/en/fiche.php?annee=2006&id=171&type=1&real=&titre=&resume=&pos=7), also under the title "Europe's Coastlines From Above". Bon chance, mon ami.

If you look hard enough, the disappointment in your search will probably overwhelm all delight you might have had if you had actually managed to find it.

C'est dommage, n'est-ce pas?

Just saw these dvd's on Amazon as "Tour of Europe's Coastlines from the Sky". It is the Original French version and requires a Region 2 DVD player.
Hope this helps. I also loved these programs and have been searching for them for a while.
