First I apologize if this is not the correct place for this thread, it seemed the most appropriate by topic.
I am trying to find an application or script, Windows/Linux/Any that you can assign a folder and have all media files in the folder converted to a single format mp3/mpeg4 etc. Does anyone know of such an item? I have a library of about 5 different formats but it is very large and to do this one at a time would be very time consuming.
Thanks for any and all help with this task,
Have a nice day,

You could select multiple files with Adobe Media Encoder (eg. select each file in it). Once they're added to the queue, select the output encoding format, then tell it to start. I think something like that. You can also create "watch folders" in it. That's probably most like what you want.
