After the DTS-MA and Dolby TrueHD as well as legacy DD and DTS 5.1 tracks, there isn't enough space left for true lossless LPCM on most, and the extra cost of dual layer BDs and compatibility issues aren't worth the switch. Not to mention more complex issues like copy protection which can inclue tons of dummy files, multiples of the same files, etc.
Also, disc capacity is not the only limit. There is a max 48 Mbps video + audio bitrate they can not exceed. You'd need at least 120 minutes at max bitrate to use up 46 GB capacity. The Aerosmith feature has a runtime of 95 minutes so there is no way it can fill a disc even at highest bitrate. 31 GB sounds about right.
