My first HD DVD I purchased was going to be Batman Begins, but my friend bought it for me as a present, so instead I got Smokin' Aces

Batman Begins and Serenity - Dec. 2006

Awesome HD DVDs.

Format neutral! (prefering HD DVD which is build on quality while blu-ray is build on marketing)

For HD DVD, my first purchase was Planet Earth (pre-order), but The Departed was the disc I played.

For Blu-Ray, I think I put in Layer Cake first. Bought that and the two POTC movies at the same time.
