Just to adress the thread on who giving thanks...

I wish to thank Toshiba for starting their advertising campaign way too late. A day late, a dollar short.

I wish to thank Microsoft for their neutral stance on High-Definition.

I wish to thank the Blu-Ray Disc association for gathering studio support.

Toshiba proved that HD on optical media worked, period. If the first BD I saw was the 5th Element, I would still be waiting. HD-DVD menus are better, the interactivity is better, it is overall better. HD-DVD proved new encoding methods worked, etc. I will enjoy my HD-DVD players until they quit - the best technology didn't win this game, just who had the most money.
